Using the New Adobe Forms Central to Distribute PDF Forms

Article Description

Looking to create a form for a website, but don't know where to start? Adobe FormsCentral is a service that allows you to create, distribute, and analyze online forms. Adobe Certified Instructor Brian Wood shows you how you can create a good-looking form from either a template or from scratch, put it on a web page via a link or embed it directly, send it out via Twitter or other methods, collect responses, and save those responses as a PDF, Excel, or CSV (comma-separated text file).

Testing Your Form

Anyway, let’s talk about testing your form next, then distributing it to your users.

  1. With your form open, click the Test tab towards the top of the page.
  2. On the Test page, click the Test Form button to open your form in another window.
  3. Try filling out your form and submitting the data (see Figure 22).

  5. Close the thank-you page and return to the page that says “Test Drive Your Form.”

You can easily make any adjustments you need to form by clicking on the Design tab again. But, suppose that the form is ready to distribute it. That’s what you’ll do next.
