Using the New Adobe Forms Central to Distribute PDF Forms

Article Description

Looking to create a form for a website, but don't know where to start? Adobe FormsCentral is a service that allows you to create, distribute, and analyze online forms. Adobe Certified Instructor Brian Wood shows you how you can create a good-looking form from either a template or from scratch, put it on a web page via a link or embed it directly, send it out via Twitter or other methods, collect responses, and save those responses as a PDF, Excel, or CSV (comma-separated text file).

The last part of the form puzzle is how you get the information that people submit in your form. It’s easy with FormsCentral. All of the data for your forms is available when you log in on the View Responses tab. You can easily organize the information, edit rows, add information, and much more in the table of data showing. The last step here is to export the data so you can use it elsewhere:

  1. Click the View Responses tab in FormsCentral.
  2. To export the data, you can choose File > Export Responses and save the data as .XLS (Excel), .pdf, or .CSV (see Figure 27).
