Creating a local site enables you to maintain all files and folders using the Site window. The Site window gives you the benefits of maintaining links within the site, as well as helps you to deploy your completed and maintained files into production. A remote site can be specified for a local site to deploy the files to either a LAN mapped drive or an FTP site.
