Embedding Flash Video with Dreamweaver

Article Description

YouTube is cool, and it's a really easy way to get your videos online. You can even link from your web site to your video on YouTube. But wouldn't it be better if you—not YouTube—controlled how the video displayed? David Karlins shows how to use Dreamweaver to embed a video clip into your own web page, presented with your own customized display skin, and surrounded by your own content.

As you’ve seen, it’s surprisingly easy to place video in your own web page. With Dreamweaver, you can embed Flash video (or other video formats) into a page with your own selected player interface. And you can surround your video with your own page content. For more information on including media in your web site, check out the resources on my Build Your Own Web Site! page.
