Obviously we've implemented a very basic model in this article. As I've noted, in a fully developed workflow we would have created artwork for the buttons in Illustrator. Creating artwork in Illustrator is preferable to using Photoshop because Illustrator's vector-based graphic engine is compatible with Flash's, and our end-product is scalable Flash vector artwork.

Ready to do some freestyling? Try adding filters and/or experimenting with blend modes for the Over and Down states of the three buttons in the Properties panel.
