Starting the lesson
In this lesson, you’ll bring raster images into and add text to your app design.
To start, you’ll open a final lesson file to get an idea for what you will create in this lesson.
Start Adobe XD CC, if it’s not already open.
On macOS, choose File > Open or, if the Start screen is showing with no files open, click the Open button in the Start screen. On Windows, click the menu icon (
) in the upper-left corner of the application window and choose Open, or, if the Start screen is showing with no files open, click the Open button in the Start screen. Open the file named L4_end.xd, which is in the Lessons > Lesson04 folder that you copied onto your hard disk.
If you see a message at the bottom of the application window about missing fonts, you can click the X on the right side of the message to close it.
Press Command+0 (macOS) or Ctrl+0 (Windows) to see all of the design content.
This file is simply meant to show what you will create by the end of the lesson.
