This book contains some information on all of the elements of the Adobe Creative Suite 5 Design Premium software. Unfortunately, it does not contain enough information to really learn any of the software, specifically Illustrator and Photoshop. However, if you are looking for an overview of what is in CS5 software package, it would be worth purchasing.

I started with CS2 and my first Classroom in a Book for that product. I've upgraded to CS5 and so am back for the upgrade book. This will lead you through several projects with seamless integration so you don't feel overwhelmed. Once you have conquered the elemental steps you feel free to improvise and the book is a constant guide so you don't feel lost in technology.

This is ideal book for a beginner who wants to start explore Adobe products, such as, Photoshop, Illustration, Flash, Dreamweaver, etc. It doesn't give any deep details for you to become a pro just by reading this book, but it does give you the ideas of how their software work. Then, you can go on to the next level of computer design in the future. Moreover, this was made by people from the Adobe company, so you can be sure about how reliable this book is.
